Mountain bikers return to The Crags for the Seeff Tour de Plett on Saturday, 17 October 2026, with three routes taking riders through the countryside surrounding Tafika Farm.
The Seeff Tour de Plett returns this October with new mountain biking routes designed to showcase the varied terrain around Plettenberg Bay and The Crags.
Starting from Tafika Farm on Redford Road, riders can choose between 55 km, 40 km and 25 km routes, making the event suitable for different levels of experience and endurance.
The event is organised by riders for riders, with routes incorporating sections of plantation and countryside around The Crags, including riding through areas overlooking the Robberg and Keurbooms Valley.
Choose Your Distance
Three distances are available for the 2026 event:
55 km - the longest route for riders looking for a greater challenge.
40 km - a middle-distance option.
25 km - the shortest of the three routes, including junior categories for boys and girls U14 and U16.
Men's and women's categories are available for the 55 km and 40 km events, including junior categories for riders under 18.
Make a Weekend of It
The setting also makes the Tour de Plett an opportunity to spend more time exploring The Crags and the wider Bitou region.
With mountain biking, hiking, farms and other places to discover nearby, riders travelling to the event can turn race day into a weekend in this part of Bitou.
