Tell us what's happening in Bitou. Submit your event details for review and help residents and visitors discover upcoming events across the region.
Event submissions are reviewed before publication. Submission does not guarantee publication.
How Event Submissions Work
- Tell us about your event. Provide the event name, date, time, location, description and any relevant booking or information link.
- Choose your listing option. Review the available event packages and let us know your preferred option when submitting or contacting us.
- We review your submission. BitouScape reviews submitted events before publication and may contact you if information needs to be clarified.
- Approved events are published. Once the applicable review and package requirements have been completed, approved events can be added to BitouScape.

- Community Event — Free
- Featured Event — R149 once-off
- Premium Event — R249 once-off
- Partner Event — R499 once-off

Before You Submit
Have your event name, dates, times, venue, Bitou area, description and booking or information link ready.
Description: Explain what the event is about, who it is for and any useful information about bookings, entry requirements or what attendees should bring.
Summary: Provide one or two sentences summarising the event for previews across BitouScape.
Dates and venue: Give the venue name and area. For recurring events, include the additional dates in your description for review.
Entry price: Enter “Free” if there is no admission charge. If prices vary, include the main pricing information and a link to full details where available.
Images: Supply only text and images you are authorised to provide for publication. Include important event details in the form, even if they also appear on a poster.

Relevant local events may include community gatherings, markets, festivals, sport, entertainment, family activities, workshops and business or networking events taking place in the Bitou region.
Is there a fee to list an event?
BitouScape currently offers a free Community Event option as well as Featured, Premium and Partner event packages with additional features. View our Listing Packages for current prices and inclusions.
Does submitting an event guarantee publication?
No. Event submissions are reviewed before publication and remain subject to BitouScape's applicable listing requirements and terms.
Can I pay for additional event promotion?
Yes. BitouScape currently offers Featured, Premium and Partner event options with different features and placements. See the Listing Packages page for the current options.
What happens if my event details change?
Contact BitouScape as soon as possible if important details such as the date, time, venue, price or booking information change.
