The “Arsenic and Old Lace” production is a dark comedy taking place in Brooklyn New York in September 1939…
Well, this time Director David Hall-Green has brought this very old play to life right here in Plett, running from Tuesday the 18th until Saturday the 22nd of October 2022.
A 1939 American playwright Joseph Kesselring’s farcical dark comedy, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, is based on an ancient myth. The play revolves around the Brewster family, descendants of the Mayflower settlers.
In addition to enjoying the process of bringing the play to life, BATS hopes local audiences will also find enjoyment.
The show is almost booked out, so click QUICKET to ensure your seat. All proceeds go to the Plett Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
The actors are all Plett locals who form part of the Bitou Amateur Theatrical Society… not to be missed!
